The Ropecast had its humble beginnings in February of 2005, as the Premier Rope Bondage Podcast known as "Rope Weekly." Hosted by Graydancer, with a steady stream of guest appearances by the Cunning Minx, the NawaMarquishiDeSade, the Twisted Monk, and his wife Genevieve, the Ropecast soon began to interview popular sexual performers, activists, and educators from around the globe.
While the focus is on the enjoyment of rope bondage, covering safety, techniques, art, and how to build connections with your partners, Graydancer has covered many other aspects of the kinky lifestyle including photography, sex education, and the political and social climate surrounding consenting adults doing what they like to do.
